The scam post contains the title such as "[TERRIFYING VIDEO] World's Biggest Snake caught in Brasil !!" / "[Exclusive] World's largest snake found in Brasil !" to grab users attention.

In a first look, it would appear like a post containing some video (play button) but It's actually an image file with a link to a malicious website. Clicking on the post will redirect user to a malicious website like seen below,

The website seen above is a fake html webpage designed to resemble the legitimate page. When users click on the image (play button) thinking it will play the video instead it will show them an alert message "To start the video, please share it below!" to share the post in order to view it. By clicking on the share button it will post the scam message on user's wall.

Below seen are the JS used to display the images and the plugin to share the scam post on users wall.

Upon sharing the post on users wall it will redirect to another website and asks user to complete a survey to verify his/her age. Whenever some one completes these kind of surveys the spammers get paid. It also detects whether any AdBlock plugin is installed on the browser and suggest users to disable it and reload the webpage to run the malicious javascript.
