calls for month." Scammers try to earn money by posting these messages in ‘Facebook’
& ‘Twitter’ in ahead of X-MAS and New-Year celebration.
When you click on these links newyeargifts.info or christmasd3al.info or christmastimedeal.info it will take you to a webpage which contains the title "Free Recharge for Airtel,
Idea, BSNL, Vodafone, Reliance, Docomo and many other networks".
The free recharge logo and progress circle animated gif is
provided in the below links, recharge0.info/logo.png & yogayog.com/progressbar.gif. Remote site "http://cdn.webend.in/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/airtelrecharge.jpg"
contains the mobile network Logo. Also, it says “Sharing is mandatory to become eligible for free offer” to tempt user to click on the share button.
Once you click on continue it takes you to "sundaygifts.in" and asks you to enter your personal details. Actually it doesn't have any validation here even if you click on “Recharge Now!” without entering the requested info it will take you to the next page.
If you enter your information it will be sent to the remote site “sundaygifts.in/add.php”
Next it asks you to select one from (Free Recharge or GPRS or SMS or 3G), whatever may be your selection (topup.html/ gprs.html /sms.html /3g.html) it will take you to a webpage which opens the same pop up message.
Below is the pop up a message telling “Spam Bot verification” and
asks you to complete the survey to verify.
It keeps displaying the
progress bar and says “We are waiting for you to complete your survey. When you
have completed the survey, please check back here to see if the content is unlocked.If
you have spent more than 5 minutes on this survey and this page is still
locked, please try a different survey.”
Just to make sure you complete all the surveys. The scammers earn money for every survey that is completed. Their work is to drive traffic to the online surveys and make people complete it. This affiliate program links to the site CPALead.com. Below is the proof,
